ACR Poker released a statement Monday morning addressing the recent concerns over one of its pros alleged use of a software program while taking part in one of the company's online tournaments.

"We are aware of a recently resurfaced screenshot showing ACR Poker Pro, @Ebony_Kenney, with GTO Wizard open while playing The Venom tournament in January 2024. This image first circulated on social media at that time and there was no evidence that the software was used in real-time to gain an unfair advantage.

"Following the recent concerns, we re-reviewed the facts and reached the same conclusion. We want to assure players that we take all concerns about game integrity seriously.

"ACR Poker remains committed to maintaining a fair and competitive environment for all players. We continuously implement and refine security measures to uphold the highest standards of integrity in online poker."

It was not immediately clear what ACR Poker planned to do about the situation.

Some players had their own ideas.

fni tweeted:

"They both should be fired immediately. These actions should be an immediate firing offense. You wouldn’t hesitate to ban me if I submitted a pic of myself playing with GTO wizard open.

"This is not a good look for online poker and it should be unacceptable for you as a US facing site. These are one of the reasons why we can’t get a reputable site for poker players in the US.

"Quick and formidable action should be applied.

"I don’t think Ebony or Nacho cheated but the optics are irrefutable."

Todd Witteles tweeted:

"Why did she have GTOWizard open?

"Same “students wanted her to look things up, coincidentally during the Venom tournament” excuse as Goofball Nacho used?"
