In light of news that Jazz Sports has been systematically confiscating accounts of what they deem to be "non recreational" players, some of whom have seen five figures wiped out, Gambling911.com is highly recommending that bookmakers and agents move off of the ABC Per Head platform.

Switching from one Pay Per Head to another can be a seamless process with sites AcePerHead promising under one hour set up with only some exceptions of the book is especially large.

Gambling911.com has now deemed the situation at Jazz Sports and its sister sites, ABC Islands, ABC Per Head and Loose Lines, dire.

Here is the email we received from Jazz Sports on Thursday.

Good morning:

On behalf of  new management  at JAZZSPORTS and its sister sites, we wanted to address the payout situation that has been mentioned by several customers on forums.

After years of financial struggles, Jazz Sports faced bankruptcy due to mismanagement. In August 2024, a new investor group stepped in to acquire the company's assets, aiming to restore stability and credibility. In an effort to support a smooth transition, the new ownership initially assisted the previous owner in addressing outstanding debts and liabilities. However, the former owner was caught stealing, and it was discovered he concealed debts and misrepresented many material claims. As a result, all previous liabilities remain solely with him, while we focus on rebuilding trust and ensuring a better future for Jazz Sports.

We are processing payouts normally for all active players, recreational or non-recreational, and will continue to do so. As part of our ongoing efforts to streamline services, a select group of longstanding accounts will receive a courtesy update regarding the completion of their account lifecycle. No further action will be required on their part.

We regret the situation, and our priority is to move forward and secure the future of the business.

Thank you,

Lola

These are alarming developments.

While it is possible bookies and agents will not be impacted to the same extent as sports bettors, Gambling911 advises to exercise caution moving forward.

What Could Happen

*These are just examples of what could occur, not necessarily what will happen.

  • Platform seized or shut down
  • Lack of attention now that owner is supposedly gone
  • Undermining of bookie and agent players by attempting to lure them to Jazz Sports
  • Behavior deemed as "immoral"and "unacceptable", some might even say "criminal"
  • Possible mismanagement of platform
  • Confiscation of equipment used to provide service
  • Angry customers could seek out retribution against perceived partner bookies, agents residing in the US

How Do Bookies Make Money?

Back in the day, a corner bookie had to work 60 hours a week or more. Today's bookmaker spends more time on the beach courtesy of their friend the Pay Per Head platform. And here is the best part: They have the ability to make double the income than when they were putting in those 60+ hours a week.
