Following over a year's long litigation, the PGA Tour, DP World Tour and LIV Golf League have agreed to unify and move forward in a larger commercial business, the circuits announced Tuesday.

That's led to BetOnline offering odds on a name for the new entity, with Global Golf Association (GGA) the 4-1 favorite paying out $400 for every $100 bet.

"We don't know much, but this morning the golf world collectively celebrated as the PGA Tour, LIV Golf and DP World Tour announced that they will combine forces and become a single golf entity," BetOnline declared Tuesday afternoon following the announcement.

When this merge will occur, the date of the first event and, most importantly, the name of the company is anyone's guess.

"We created prop bets for each of the unknowns. There are 16 acronyms listed for the name of the global golf entity, and there’s some intriguing, as well as humorous (TIG = Tiger?), options on the board."

We don’t expect this golf deal to be finalized before Labor Day, but we are favoring the first event of the new world tour taking place in January 2024.
