Carrie Stroup here and it’s time for you to Think Like The Bookie with these 2010 Week 1 NFL predictions.

Essentially what we will be doing here at Gambling911.com is providing readers with the three biggest public bets of the week and going completely against them.

Let’s face it, solid online sportsbooks the likes of Sportsbook.com wouldn’t be in business if they were losing every week to the public now, would they?

For 2010 Week 1 our NFL predictions will be on:

The Philadelphia Eagles +3

The Seattle Seahawks +3

The Houston Texans +2

Philadelphia and Seattle play later in the day on Sunday.  The Texans play during the first half against Indianapolis.

Typically the online bookmakers won’t get all three of these correct.  So Gambling911.com suggests betting all three in order to capitalize.  If they all lose, you are feeling the pain of your bookies and the public fared well.  But the public never comes out on top of the bookie in the long run, or he/she would be out of business.

The public is on the Packers at an 85 percent clip against Philadelphia but Green Bay is the most wagered on team bar none during Week 1.

The 49ers were getting 91 percent of the action in their game against Seattle.  Still heavy volume though not as heavy as the Packers.  This is an even more lopsided affair.

The Indianapolis Colts were getting 91 percent of the action against Houston.  Another heavily wagered on game.

Good luck to all.
