Stay Put Belmont Stakes odds were listed at +1750 with a payout potential of $175 for every $10 bet at SBG Global.

Stay Put won consecutive races at the Fair Grounds in December and January, then finished fifth in the Grade 2 Risen Star and Grade 2 Louisiana Derby at the New Orleans racing racetrack. The chestnut, who had been devoid of early speed in his previous efforts, raced closer to the pace when confronted with glacial fractions in an optional claimer at Churchill Downs on the Kentucky Derby undercard, a race he won by three-quarters of a length.

His strengths include consistency. His weakness might be pace, which went against him in his two stakes tries.

How We Follow Horse Racing Has Completely Changed

Horse racing has always been a sport built on routine. Certain days meant certain tracks, the form guide landed when it landed, and if you missed a race, you simply caught up later. Following the sport required a bit of commitment, a bit of patience, and often a bit of guesswork.
