UB.com is gearing up to host the June ‘Second Sundays' online fundraiser, to benefit the National Tay-Sachs & Allied Diseases Association ("NTSAD"). The $10 buy-in Second Sundays event is scheduled on Sunday, June 13th at the new time of 14:45 ET, and will be hosted by Team UB's Joe Sebok, an active supporter of this month's chosen charity. UB will match the total funds raised by players with all proceeds donated to NTSAD, plus all participants are automatically in the running for prizes just for entering, while raising needed funds and awareness for this important cause.

"There is nothing more amazing than being able to give back and help support causes that work to defeat a disease like Tay-Sachs," said Team UB's Joe Sebok. "Anything done to benefit those stricken with it and their families I consider a privilege."

The June 13th Second Sundays charity poker tournament payouts include entry to the UB's $200+15 buy-in $200,000 Guaranteed tournament to the top ten finishers. The winner also receives a UB gear swag bag valued at $100. Register now for this month's Second Sunday event by logging onto UB.com (or AbsolutePoker.com) and look for the tournament name "Second Sundays Charity" in the tournament lobby in the "EVENTS" tab.

Direct donations are also now available online at UB via Player-to-Player transfer to the account "CHARITIES" (first name is "Charity" - a required field for all P2P transfers). The P2P transfer option is a perfect option for players who can't commit the time at the table to play in the Second Sunday tournament, but who still want to show that they care.

The mission of the NTSAD is to lead the fight to treat and cure Tay-Sachs, Canavan and related genetic diseases and to support affected families and individuals in leading fuller lives. Today, thanks to the tireless work of the NTSAD, more than two million have been tested for Tay-Sachs disease, thousands of Tay-Sachs carriers have been identified, and hundreds of healthy children have been born to high-risk couples.

UB's Second Sunday fundraiser tournaments will be hosted online across the CEREUS Network on the second Sunday of every month, and players at Absolute Poker are also invited to participate and support these events, with each one benefiting a different worthwhile national charity.
