Fire Rips Through Luxury Room at Las Vegas Encore Hotel

Clark County Fire Department responded to a fire in a hotel room on Thursday afternoon at 3121 South Las Vegas Boulevard, the location of Encore Las Vegas. According to the department, firefighters made their way to the 56th floor and found a room filled with heavy smoke and the fire sprinkler activated. Crews searched the room and checked for any spread of fire, but it was reported to be contained in the single room. There were no civilian or firefighter injuries reported.
