For the longest time, Sidney's Candy was practically a favorite to win the 2010 Kentucky Derby but heading into the early afternoon, odds for Sidney's Candy had gone from +400 all the way to +700 at Sports Interaction for a possible payout of $70 on every $10 bet.  These are the longest odds Gambling911.com has seen for this horse yet.

Sidney's Candy won the 11/8-mile Santa Anita Derby in 1:48.00 - the fastest time of any Kentucky Derby prep race at that distance.

He likes dirt, but does he like wet dirt (otherwise known as mud)?  That remains the big question mark coming into Saturday evening's race as more storms loom on the horizon.  There could be a tornado watch as well.  Stay tuned.

These odds were available at Noon Saturday at Sports Interaction, which was giving away a 100 percent bonus up to $116

How We Follow Horse Racing Has Completely Changed

Horse racing has always been a sport built on routine. Certain days meant certain tracks, the form guide landed when it landed, and if you missed a race, you simply caught up later. Following the sport required a bit of commitment, a bit of patience, and often a bit of guesswork.
