The best Sidney's Candy Kentucky Derby payout odds we could find here at Gambling911.com early Saturday morning were at Sportsbook.com.  The payout would be $600 for every $100 bet or $60 for every $10 bet compared to $40 at some books.

Sidney's Candy odds had been around +400 at most online sportsbooks over the past couple of days and the trend seemed to be for the odds to get longer.

Trainer John Sadler emphasized to the Thoroughbred Times on Wednesday that Sidney's Candy, a homebred for Jenny Craig and her late husband Sid, is "a relaxed horse who happens to have secured his victories in front-running style".

"Look at this picture," Sadler said with a smile as he pulled out a BlackBerry mobile phone. The photo, sent by assistant Larry Benavides, showed Sidney's Candy sleeping in straw at Churchill Downs on the day he arrived at the Louisville track. "Look at the date of the photo. That's from April 14. You just don't see that."

We could see Sidney' Candy's payout odds reach even higher than $600 on a $100 bet as we inch towards race time since he is relatively unproven on a muddy track.

Still 6/1 are great odds and there is no guarantee they won't be slashed further so Gambling911.com suggests locking them in now here if this is your horse.
