When it comes to betting on the Kentucky Derby 2010, Bookmaker.com, the oldest established North American-facing online bookmaker, has gone all out this year.

Bookmaker.com is offering an amazing 8 percent back on both wins and losses for the 2010 Kentucky Derby.

"They have had to pull out all the stops to make up for past years," suggests Don Shapiro of Gambling911.com.

That's because in past years the popular online sportsbook has tended to cut off futures for the Kentucky Derby immediately following the post position announcements.  Instead, they opted to offer Kentucky Derby matchups.

This year is different.  Not only is Bookmaker.com offering future betting (presumably right up to the start of the race), the past few days they have been offering some of the very best payout odds.

"In the past Bookmaker.com has been a little bit more difficult to promote for the Derby due to the limited odds offerings," Shapiro says.  "This year the 8 percent losses back makes it almost impossible NOT to bet with them."

Betting on the Kentucky Derby 2010 is expected to exceed every other event before it with record traffic anticipated for the Gambling911.com website.  The site has seen unusually heavy traffic throughout Friday related to the race.

A good chunk of the online sportsbook revenue for the 2nd quarter of this year will be generated from the Derby.
