A Los Angeles gambler turned a $25 bet into a major payday at Palms Casino Resort, winning $242,677 while playing a Dragon Link slot machine.

She had wagered $125 at the time of the win.

A frequent visitor to Palms’ sister property, Yaamava’ Resort & Casino in Southern California, the player was in Las Vegas for a short stay but is now planning to extend her trip following the big win. She celebrated the moment with excitement and shared that her first plan is to enjoy a nice dinner with her husband.

The six-figure payout continues a strong streak of big wins at Palms, where Club Serrano members like the LA visitor enjoy exclusive benefits, promotions, and exciting opportunities to win big. The Club Serrano rewards program is also valid at Yaamava’ Resort & Casino at San Manuel in Southern California, giving members perks across both premier destinations.

Club Serrano membership is free.  Those who join receive a player's card used each time one gambles.  The more you gamble, the more points earned.  About $1 wagered on slots is equal to 1 point.

Dragon Link typically has an RTP somewhere in the ~90% to 96% range, sometimes quoted around 95–96% in certain configurations. Some casinos change their RTP settings, however, often ranging between 85% and 98%.

Nevada regulators don’t require casinos to publish RTP by machine.
