When Oscars odds were released on January 22 following official nominations, Ryan Coogler’s "Sinners" earned a record-breaking 16 nominations.
However, Sinners was not favored to take home an Academy Award in any of the primary categories.

Money has been flooding in on Michael B. Jordan to take home the Oscar for Best Actor and now he's leapfrogged both Leonardo DiCaprio and Timothee Chalamet.
Jordan opened with 12/1 odds, and two weeks ago had 5/1 odds, but is now -180 (5/9). Those odds equate to a 64% implied probability.
Chalamet started as a hefty favorite and moved as high as -800 (1/8), but now he's around 2/1 to take home the statue.
The Best Supporting Actress odds board is crazy tight with three ladies all better than 3/1 odds.
