Think your bathroom needs a luxury makeover? How about a golden throne?
A fully functional, 18-karat solid gold toilet will be auctioned by Sotheby's on November 18, with bidding expected to start at more than $10 million.
The 220-pound artwork, titled America, was created by Maurizio Cattelan...the same artist who famously sold a duct-taped banana for $6.2 million.
Sotheby's anticipates this satirical piece will far surpass the walled-off banana record.
