ESPN and ABC execs can’t be thrilled about the NBA Finals matchup. We all expect the ratings to be near record lows for this championship series, which is a shame.

But…there will still be plenty of betting action to be had.

Before the season started, we sent out exact NBA Finals matchup odds and the chances of an Indiana Pacers/Oklahoma City Thunder finals were 85/1.

It was the 33rd-most likely Finals matchup behind pairings such as the Sixers/Mavs, Celtics/Pelicans, Knicks/Suns and Heat/Thunder.

The lookahead lines to this series had the Thunder at a robust -750 and the Pacers +535. The lines have since moved a decent amount in the Pacers’ favor.

The most likely outcome is the Thunder winning in five games. In fact, the Thunder winning in a sweep has lower odds than winning in six or seven games.

Oklahoma City Thunder              -570
