One thing almost certain NOT to happen at the upcoming September 10 ABC Debate between GOP nominee and former president Donald Trump and Democratic nominee and current vice president Kamala Harris, the two won't be shaking hands.

At least the oddsmakers seem to believe this is highly unlikely.

BetUS has set the odds of a handshake between Trump and Harris at +200, meaning a payout of $200 for every $100 bet.

This will be the first time the two have ever met.

Brandi D. Addison of the Austin Statesman:

Despite serving in the highest echelons of power, Harris and Trump have largely existed in separate political spheres, often clashing from afar rather than engaging directly. Harris spent Trump's presidency in the Senate, where she vocally opposed many of his administration's policies, and later as Vice President under the Biden administration.

Senators and presidents don't always interact directly, particularly when they're from opposing parties, Addison adds.  Harris was serving as senator throughout Trump's four year term as president.

During the more recent debate between Trump and the current U.S. president, Joe Biden, neither man shaked hands.

Watch for a bunch more Debate prop bets to be posted as we get closer including the color of each candidate's outfits and what will be said during the Debate.
