93% of those at Polymarket believe she will make the selection prior to that date, though barely $10,000 was wagered over the last 24 hours since the betting market was added.

The selection betting market at Polymarket will resolve to "Yes" if Kamala Harris announces her pick for her running mate as Vice President of the United States by August 7, 2024, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".
This market will resolve based on the first announcement Kamala Harris makes regarding her pick for vice president.
The primary resolution source for this market will be Kamala Harris, her campaign, or her official representative(s), however a consensus of credible reporting will also be used.
Polymarket does not take bets from those located in the U.S. at this time.
Biden Appoints a Man as Secret Service Director?
This betting market opened on the heels of Kimberly Cheatle's resignation Tuesday.
Cheatle had served as Secret Service director since August 2022. She resigned after being grilled by lawmakers Monday as to how a gunman was able to get so close to the Republican presidential nominee at an outdoor campaign rally in Pennsylvania.
“I take full responsibility for the security lapse,” she said in an email to staff obtained by The Associated Press. “In light of recent events, it is with a heavy heart that I have made the difficult decision to step down as your director.”
83% of those taking part in this betting market are backing Biden appointing a male in her position.
Joe Biden Finishes Out His Term
President Joe Biden promised to finish out his term in a Wednesday night Oval Office address.
This isn't a new market per se as greater than $10 million has been bet, but there has been a surge in action since Biden announced he would be exiting the race this past Sunday.
This market will resolve to "Yes" if Joe Biden successfully finishes his term as President of the United States of America without any interruptions. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".
This market will not resolve "Yes" until the presidency is successfully transferred from Biden to another person at the completion of his term on January 20, 2025, or until Biden is sworn into the presidency again on that date.
The primary resolution source for this market is official information from the US federal government, however a consensus of credible reporting will also be used.
