Cleveland Cavs vs. Denver Nuggets Betting Preview

The line on the Cavaliers-Nuggets game Sunday was coming in at Denver -4.5 per ESPN Bet and this one is dead on as our number comes in at Denver 4.25.  NBA bookie software lines were coming in between -5 and -5.5 as of Sunday morning. That represents a slight overlay.

The Nuggets have had trouble covering of late, failing to do so in five of their last seven games.  The Cavaliers have also struggled of late Against The Spread, failing to cover in six of their last eight games.

Donovan Mitchel returned to the Cleveland lineup after a six-game absence and helped Cleveland win against the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday night.

Denver, meanwhile, has stumbled without Jamal Murray in the lineup. Murray has missed the past four games with right knee inflammation but the books have posted prop bets for him in this game.  Officially he is listed as Questionable.

Cleveland Cavs vs. Denver Nuggets Prop Bets

Nikola Jokic is shooting 57.9% and averaging 26.1 points for the Nuggets.  His scoring total for this game is slightly above that number at 26.5.  His rebound total for this game was set at 12.5.

Gamblers should be aware that Jokic, while he is expected to play, is dealing with a sore wrist that could see his scoring total stay Under.

"I will see. I really trust the medical staff and our doctors. So, we will see," he said. "Hopefully it's going to be a little better just so I don't feel it every time I shoot it. But it's good, I'm used to the pain, so it's normal for me."

Jarrett Allen is scoring 16.4 points per game and averaging 10.8 rebounds for the Cavaliers.  For this game his scoring total Over/Under is coming in at 14.5.
