Iowa, Tennessee and Massachusetts are three states where you cannot open a betting account using a credit card with any of the regulated sportsbooks. Pennsylvania may soon prohibit credit cards, but not until after the 2024 NCAA College Basketball Tournaments and only if proposed legislation passes. There are certainly ways around this, which we explore below.
Offshore Sportsbooks
Offshore sportsbooks do take bets from those 18 and up from Tennessee.
Some of these books, like BetUS, have been in business now for 30 plus years. That's way longer than any of the regulated books that operate from the Volunteer State.

Cross the State Line
Kentucky and North Carolina are the two states that border Tennessee that now offer online sports betting and credit cards can be utilized to open a wagering account. A few of the bigger name sportsbooks operate in all three states.
