Recent Performance

The Thunder have won eight of their last ten games.

Paul Biagioli of Winners and Whiners writes:

"The Pelicans will use their size to their advantage in this game. Starting in the middle, Chet Holmgren will not want to post up (Jonas) Valanciunas, he is giving up too much weight and will not find success with his back to the basket. The Pelicans also have (Brandon) Ingram and Zion (Williams) at the three and four to create mismatch problems for the perimeter-oriented Thunder. Herb Jones starts for a reason, he only scores 11 PPG, but his length on the perimeter causes problems for opposing wings. Jones will matchup with Shai (Gilgeous-Alexander), leaving the rest of the Thunder to go up against bigger opponents."

Biagioli does not see anyone on the Thunder being able to match up versus Zion.

The Pelicans have won six of their last ten overall.
