Jake Paul vs. Nate Diaz is now in the books and the YouTube sensation Paul remains undefeated against UFC fighters.

Paul defeated Nate Diaz via unanimous decision (97-92, 98-91, 98-91) Saturday night at a sold-out American Airlines Center.  The payout for those who bet him doing so with the Method of Victory props received a cool $300 for every $100 bet.

The YouTuber-turned-prizefighter quickly called for a rematch following his win.

That's music to the ears of sportsbooks as BetOnline released its odds on the likely Jake Paul vs. Nate Diaz rematch Sunday.

Jake Paul is now a hefty underdog as this one is expected to take place in the cage.

Nate Diaz, in fact, is now a massive -1200 favorite in an MMA match against Paul. These odds are 3x higher than Paul's boxing odds against Diaz last night.

MMA Odds

Jake Paul +650

Nate Diaz -1200

Just a few hours before this fight went off, Dave Mason of BetOnline confirmed that both the bet count and amount wagered had exceeded last weekend's blockbuster fight between Errol Spence vs. Terence Crawford.

Web traffic tied to Saturday's Paul-Diaz fight had been slightly trailing the Spence-Crawford fight at Gambling911.com until all hell broke out shortly after the 6 pm ET hour.  In the end, August 5 became the site's most trafficked day since August 2017 and second most trafficked day in Gambling911's nearly 25 year history.  The Conor McGregor vs. Floyd Mayweather Jr. fight on August 2017 was the biggest event in the site's history and remains so.

Diaz, despite being a +300 underdog, hanged tough throughout Saturday night's fight.

"He's tough. He's real tough," Paul said in his postfight interview. "That's what he's known for. But tough in this sport doesn't work.

"I knocked him down, won basically every round, but he's a warrior. I had him hurt in the first round, he kept on coming. No one's taken that much damage. All credit to my team and conditioning. Going 10 rounds in my eighth fight, it's unheard of. Only been boxing for three years and beat a UFC legend."

Diaz did appear receptive to a rematch but made it pretty clear he wanted more money.

"If I just lost, I would like to rematch him in this to beat him in this," Diaz told ESPN. "But if not, I would do [MMA]. Whatever I got to do to get a rematch."
