Next Sesame Street Character to be Accused of Wrongful Behavior Odds

We know Dave Mason and BetOnline probably won’t want to touch this one with Big Bird’s long beak, but the Sesame Place race scandal has a lot of folks talking and that story continues to be hot heading into the new week.

For decades now, Sesame Street characters have managed to maintain a pristine reputation.

Then news broke last week that a few of the mascots portraying Sesame Street characters at a Philadelphia area theme park may have been insensitive to children of color, specifically the Rosita character, who appears to be seen on video snubbing a black child.

An attorney representing the mother of this child promised more videos to come and, indeed, other parents are now stepping forward and releasing their own reportedly filmed at the theme park in question.

Sesame Place originally said the performer’s costume may have made it difficult to see the girls.  The theme park also claimed that the Rosita hand gestures were not meant for them.

Gambling911.com now has odds on the next Sesame Street character to be seen in video acting inappropriately before August 31, 2022 (must be part of a Sesame Street sanctioned or licensed event and/or venue as opposed to someone simply dressing up as Big Bird at a party and smacking someone).

Rosita (Again) 2-1

Elmo 3-1

Ernie or Bert 4-1

Big Bird -500

No More Inappropriate Behaviour Surfaces EVEN

Sesame Place is a licensed park partner of the non-profit Sesame Workshop, while the park itself is owned and operated by SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment.
