Guests at select Las Vegas hotels will soon be able to have Virtual Reality porn delivered to their hotel rooms discreetly via a robot, which may actually do the complete opposite as this is sure to arouse other guests who happen to be in proximity.

The box is supposed to be discreet as well.  It will feature an Oculus Quest 2 headset pre-loaded with the latest adult films from VR Bangers.

The service costs £41 ($49.99) per day and includes a 'fully sanitised' set of goggles, all of which is deployed by a fleet of robots roaming Sin City.

Many Vegas hotels turned down an offer from VR Bangers to offer the porn headsets directly to guests, hence the "discreet" robots buzzing around elevators and hallways.

Daniel Abramovich, CEO of VR Bangers, said some hotels "don't want to be associated with porn even though they show 18+ movies on their hotel TV, which is hypocrisy—because what's the difference, right?"

He added: "The idea to use robots is simply flawless and it changed everything. Hotel rooms no longer have to store our VR porn, the service becomes completely voluntary, and still you can have your favourite VR sex scenes delivered right to your hotel room if you don't have your VR headset around."

What was once a standard part of the hotel room experience - often minus the actual climax with some hospitality brands - many began to get away from the offering during the last decade.

According to Tom Minnery, senior vice president of government and public policy at Focus on the Family, pornography is “especially dangerous in hotels because it can become addictive and create a sexualized climate that puts men, women and children at risk.”

Even some of the Vegas hotels began to accept this notion, especially while attempting to promote the city as more "family friendly".

With the internet and streaming, hotels no longer felt the need to offer the salacious programming.
