What Are the Payout Odds on Tiger Woods to Win the 2022 PGA Championship?

It's both a gift and a curse at the same time.  Tiger Woods going deep in any Majors tournament means greater viewership and, by default, more wagering.  But most of the bets will be made on Woods.  If he wins, the books lose.  Though the liability is less than in the past, it's still present.

What Will Tiger Woods Pay Out If He Wins This Year's PGA Championship?

A Tiger Woods win at the 2022 PGA Championship pays out $6000 on a $100 bet, the largest liability ever on the 82-win PGA Tour player.  He's tied for the most wins in the sport.

Woods returned to play in the Masters Tournament a few weeks back after suffering a severe leg injury last year.  He had been involved in a one-vehicle accident.

"I've gotten a lot stronger," Woods told reporters after Sunday's practice round at Southern Hills Country Club.

The 46-year-old remained active immediately following last month's Masters.

"We went back to work on Tuesday [after the Masters]. Monday was awful. I did nothing and Tuesday was leg day. So, we went right back after it," Woods said. "We started ramping up a week or so ago, played a little bit more golf, and it was good. Everything is better."

Who Are the Favorites to Win the 2022 PGA Championship?

Scottie Scheffler will pay out $1200 on a $100 bet, Jon Rahm $1400 and Justin Thomas along with Rory McIlroy each pay out $1600 on a $100 bet.

Scheffler is the obvious favorite to win following his Masters victory a few weeks back.  The payout is still substantial.

The PGA Championship begins Thursday at Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Okla.

Wander through Tokyo for an afternoon, and you’ll see monks heading to a temple a few streets over from teenagers queuing for the latest gadget, and somehow neither feels out of place. That same restlessness shows up in how people spend their downtime too, whether that’s an arcade, an izakaya, or increasingly, betting apps that have exploded in popularity.
