BetUS Brings On Gary Payton as Site Spokesperson

If you are a regular visitor of the BetUS website as we are you may have noticed a new but familiar face.  It's Gary Payton, the beloved former NBA point guard with the Seattle SuperSonics (now the Oklahoma City Thunder).

He is prominently featured on the site with the quote "You bet, you win, your ass gets paid!".

Payton is now the spokesperson and face of BetUS.  Details of the deal were not immediately known.

Payton spent 13 years with the Sonics and would later go on to win an NBA championship with the Heat in 2006.

Considered the "NBA's reigning high scorer among point guards" in his prime, Payton was called "probably as complete a guard as there ever was" by Basketball Hall of Famer Gail Goodrich.

The former Hall of Famer has previously appeared on BetUS Unfiltered episodes.

BetUS has built strong relationships with NBA players over the years.  In 2006, the online sportsbook sponsored a luncheon for then Heat star Alonzo Mourning at the NBA All Star Game in Houston.
