A scoreless quarter in the 2021 Super Bowl offered a payout of $55 for every $10 bet. If you are looking for this prop bet for your regular season wagering, you're in luck.  This is one of the most popular prop bets offered on all games.

A scoreless quarter in any Super Bowl is worth a look.  The odds for a full quarter to go by without any points scored typically comes in around 6-1 to 7-1 odds.

Halftime is 31 minutes in the Super Bowl, roughly twice as long as is the regular season NFL game and teams could come out sluggish in the 3rd quarter.

Let's look at Week 3 of the 2023 NFL season to get a feel for how well this prop does during any given week of a regular season.

Even a game that hits a total of 26 can feature a scoreless quarter.  The Falcons-Lions game came in at that number and had a scoreless 2nd quarter.

The Saints-Packers game scored even more (35) and featured a quarter without any scoring (3rd).

Then there was that 37-3 blowout of the Commanders in Buffalo.  40 points were scored, just none in the 3rd quarter.

Low scoring games like Week 2's Chiefs-Jaguars 17-9 finish tend to feature a no-score in at least one quarter.  The Bengals-Browns game in Week 1 was another featuring a scoreless quarter that ended 3-24.  Super low scoring games (totals under 20) are hard to come by so far in 2023.

We've found that there are typically two to three games that feature a scoreless quarter in any given week.
