Richard's Kid 2009 Breeders Cup odds were listed at +1400 at Sports Interaction for a payout potential of $140 on every $10 bet or $1400 on every $100 bet.

A number of experts have been leaning towards Richard's Kid in recent days.

"Richard's Kid impressed me with his works this week. He is just an improving horse who loves synthetics and really has a nice stride. He will be coming hard at the end," wrote Jason Shandler of Bloodhorse.com.

"Richard's Kid has found new life on synthetic surfaces and is training spectacularly," writes Nicole Russo of the Saratogian.

Richard's Kid's victory in the Pacific Classic Stakes (G1), a Breeders' Cup 'Win and You're In' race, guaranteed him a starting berth in the Breeders' Cup Classic.  He's also trained by Bob Balfert, which helps to boost his odds. Baffert ranks third in Breeders' Cup victories.

How We Follow Horse Racing Has Completely Changed

Horse racing has always been a sport built on routine. Certain days meant certain tracks, the form guide landed when it landed, and if you missed a race, you simply caught up later. Following the sport required a bit of commitment, a bit of patience, and often a bit of guesswork.
