House Needs Trump, Woods Tells GOP to Grow a Pair, Tiger King Pardon?

Plenty of bets are pouring in on the former US Vice President Joe Biden to become the next Commander-in-Chief.  That hasn't caused the line to shift much.

BetOnline's Dave Mason noted that the current White House occupant, Donald Trump, is a -140 favorite to be re-elected President of the United States.

Trump made news Monday by disclosing he has been taking the malaria drug hydroxychloroquine “for about a week and a half now,” in an effort to prevent contracting the coronavirus after two White House staffers tested positive.

The White House hurried Tuesday to defend President Donald Trump’s decision.

Amid concerns from some public health experts that Trump’s example could send more people to misuse the drug, White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany said Tuesday that “tens of millions of people around the world have used this drug for other purposes,” including malaria prophylaxis. She emphasized that “any use of hydroxychloroquine has to be in consultation with your doctor. You have to have a prescription. That’s the way it must be done.”

Poker Pro, Actor James Woods Calls on Republicans to Get Some Balls

Trump supporter and celebrity poker player James Woods lashed out at Republicans via his Twitter feed on Tuesday.

Woods had previously tweeted: "Let’s face it. Donald Trump is a rough individual. He is vain, insensitive and raw. But he loves America more than any President in my lifetime. He is the last firewall between us and this cesspool called Washington. I’ll take him any day over any of these bums."

Over the past few years, some segments of the poker community have retreated into their political tribal shell whether it be the ultra Liberal Daniel Negreanu or the Trump supporting Mike "The Mouth" Matusow.  There is also the lifelong Republican Doyle Brunson, who isn't afraid to take a shot at the current US President every now and again.

Tiger King Seeking Pardon, Donated to Trump Campaign

TMZ is reporting that Joe Exotic donated money to Trump’s Presidential campaign in 2016 and is now seeking a pardon.

Joe attended a Trump campaign event just outside Oklahoma City and plunked down $1,000 to meet and greet DT.

From TMZ.com:

Joe was convicted of hiring a hitman to kill his archnemesis, Carole Baskin, along with animal-related crimes. Lots of people think Joe didn't get a fair shake at trial, and his legal team is making a full-court press to spring him from the big house.
