Two New QBs and Their Affect on the Odds
Forget about Eli Manning; the Giants appear to have already done as much: Daniel Jones’ first try at the starting QB post with New York was nothing else but a resounding success. He managed to turn the tables on a confused Tampa Bay team and scored a last-minute touchdown that put his team on the lead for the first time this season. Jones threw for two TD passes and ran for another pair, for a total yardage of 28.
Another team that isn’t feeling the blues as much is the Carolina Panthers, who welcomed Kyle Allen at the QB position for last Sunday’s game against Arizona, in place of injured Cam Newton, who is expected to sit one more week out in order to allow his foot to fully recover. Allen completed nearly 70% of his passes, running for 173 yards and two touchdowns.
