Hamilton, Ontario police are hoping to gather DNA from a car that was hit head on in front of the residence of a local mob boss.

76-year-old mobster Pat Musitano’s St. Clair Boulevard was not believed to be home at the time of the crash.
The incident occurred Monday afternoon around 4:30 pm. A friend of Musitano parked in the driveway of his home was spooked by something, backed out of the driveway, and crashed into the Mercedes. He was hospitalized with minor injuries.
Three men where seen fleeing the scene, shedding their clothes as they ran. All three men were described as black, ages 25 to 30, one wearing a mask, another having removed a bag from the Mercedes.
Airbags were deployed at the time of the crash.
Images caught on surveillance of the three suspects has been released to the public.
Det. Sgt. Peter Thom also said that electronic devices left behind in the Mercedes may also help in their investigation.
Pat Musitano visited the 76-year-old, who suffered minor injuries in the crash, in hospital.

The incident comes at a time of heightened Mafia violence in the Hamilton area, including the murder of Pat's younger brother Angelo Musitano in May 2017 and the St. Clair home being sprayed with bullets on the night of June 27, 2017.
Members of rival families have seen loved ones killed, including the shooting deaths of Albert Iavarone and Cece Luppino.
In Angelo Musitano's murder the killer is accused of using sophisticated surveillance to track the family. Thom said police are examining the cars involved in the crashes to see if any trackers were installed.
