Important Line and Total Moves

5:48 pm - The line on this game was heading back up towards -140

10:56 pm EST - It does look like the books want us to bet the Nats.  Miami is 16-31 but has somehow managed to put a string of 6 straight wins together, including two sweeps (the Mets and Tigers).  Did we mention the last three were on the road.

By 10:40 pm EST Thursday night Bookmaker had dropped the Nats line from -155 to -141.

By 10 pm EST Thursday most books had dropped the line on the Nats 10 points

Game Betting Preview

Seven of the last ten meetings have gone into double digits.  Needless-to-say, the 8.5 here is a little low especially considering the starters. The move on the total, however, does make this one unappealing where we stand.

The listed pitchers are Pablo Lopez MIA (3-5, 5.06) is slated to take on Kyle McGowin WSH (0-0, 6.00).

While Lopez allowed just one hit over seven scoreless innings with seven strikeouts in a 2-0 victory over the Mets on Saturday, he got pummeled in his last outing in which he allowed ten runs over three innings.

He pitched well in the outing prior to that one.
