Big public favorites included the Seattle Mariners and Philadelphia Phillies, each seeing around 70% of the betting action.  The Twins and Cardinals were also seeing better than 60% of the action.

The Phillies line was generally trending down from -180 to -170.

The Mariners number was coming down fast from -173 to -154.

The Twins line hadn't moved off the -180.

The Cardinals line has seen only a slight movement to -146.

The Marlins are not a very good team going up against Philadelphia.  As such we would not recommend betting against the public here.  Miami has won half of the last ten games versus Philadelphia.

Seattle has beaten what is esssentially a .500 Rangers team in their last five though Texas does have five victories against the Mariners in their last ten meetings.

With the Rangers sending Shelby Miller to the mound with his 1-1 record and 7.63 ERA, we'd stay clear.

Chris Paddack Player Prop Bets

Paddack recorded 10 strikeouts over seven shutout innings on Monday in a win over the White Sox. Prior to that start, Paddack was obliterated by the Orioles, allowing nine runs on 12 hits in 5 1/3 innings.

Zach Eflin Player Prop Bets

Zach Eflin has great value in fantasy leagues for the April 26 game against the lowly Chicago White Sox.  Betting on Eflin and the Tampa Bay Rays might make sense if not for the -210 price tag.

Trevor Williams Player Prop Bets

The Nats Trevor Williams held the Astros to one run with four strikeouts across six innings in a no-decision on Saturday.  And the betting public was eating him up at a near 80% clip.
