Most Bet on Sides

Tennessee and Marquette are two stand out lopsided plays with the Vols having the most backing no matter the book.

90% of the spread action was on the Volunteers early at -2.  Sagarin suggested the line here should be Tennessee -1.5.  Books have moved the line in accordance with the action from -1 to -2 in an effort to get more money on the LSU Tigers.

With Marquette we had around 83% of the spread action coming their way at -3.5.  Yesterday we mentioned that the Golden Eagles should be a -4 to -4.5 favorite versus Providence.  Books have generally been moving the line up from -2.5 to -3.5.

Consensus Picks

Today's Consensus Picks where better than 70% of the plays are on a particular side:

Early consensus plays were the 76ers seeing 74% of the picks coming in at -2.5 hosting the Portland Trailblazers.

The Toronto Maple Leafs were a top play with around 75% of the picks at -170 versus Montreal in Hockey.

Marquette, a lopsided play among gamblers, was getting around 73% of the pick action.

Saint Mary's at -1.5 vs. San Diego had around 76% of the plays in their early game.

70% of picks were on Purdue in their matchup against Nebraska.  The Boilermakers were a -6 road favorite.
