North Carolina vs. Connecticut Betting Odds

North Carolina vs. Connecticut betting odds featured a line of North Carolina -4 at SBG Global.  Most books were offering the line at -4 ½ with some of the Vegas bookmakers featuring a -5 point line.

North Carolina crushed Connecticut last year.

The Tar Heels are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games after allowing less than 275 total yards in their previous game but were also 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games after accumulating more than 200 yards rushing in their previous game.  These two trends tend to off set one another.

The Huskies are 6-14-1 ATS in their last 21 games after accumulating more than 200 yards rushing in their previous game.

The are also 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games following a ATS win.

90 percent of the spread betting action was going towards North Carolina yet overall there hasn't been a whole lot of line movement.

The North Carolina defense returns with 9 starters from last season.

The Huskies have overhauled their offense, moving to a no-huddle, fast-paced attack under first-year coordinator Joe Moorhead.

It will be the first major non-conference test for the North Carolina defense, which was dominant in last Saturday's season-opening 40-6 victory over The Citadel. The Tar Heels gave up just 153 yards, including 30 rushing yards, and forced four turnovers.
The Tar Heels are just 3-7 in games against teams from the Big East, but 2-0 against Connecticut.
