Central Michigan is standing out like a sore thumb as a team to bet on at Sports Interaction

The stats we like include Central Michigan being 12-3 on the money line on all games played on Saturdays over the last three seasons.  This is great because Central Michigan would pay out $500 for every $100 bet on the money line.  Arizona is 7-11 Straight Up when playing on Saturdays.

Personally, we like Central Michigan as a +14 ½ underdog on the spread.  Beating Arizona is tough to fathom though it's not entirely out of the question.  The Chippewas are 30-13-3 ATS in their last 46 games overall.  The Wildcats are 7-22 ATS in their last 29 games as a home favorite, albeit they are 8-1 ATS in their last nine home games.
Another of our 2009 Week 1 College Football free picks is on California, where at home they are 7-0 of late Against The Spread.  They are a -21 point favorite unfortunately.

Then there is East Michigan on the -190 money line vs. Army.  It's a bit of a steep price but, using the money line, Army has 1  Win and 12  Losses  since 1992 on the road, so playing against Army to win outright is a relatively safe bet.
