Packers Seeing 65 Percent of Spread Action as +3.5 Underdogs vs. Vikings: Books Root for Minnesota

Sunday Night Football was upon us and featured a critical game between the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings.

A Packers loss would almost certainly spell an end to their Playoffs hopes as they drop two games below .500 and four games behind the Bears.  Minnesota would still have a chance at catching up to Chicago or be in a good position for a Wildcard spot assuming they win this game and the rest down the stretch.

65% of the spread action was on the Packers at +3.5.

Regardless of the fact that Green Bay is seeing much of the public love, most of the bookmakers are encouraging even more by moving the line off 3 to 3.5.  In fact, Bovada was one of the few books still holding at -3 by 6:30 pm EST.

The books obviously have a strong opinion on Minnesota, a team that has only lost to Green Bay once in the past six meetings.

Considering they got hammered by the Patriots cover earlier in the day, the books will want some of that money returned.
