PITCHING MATCHUP: Cubs LH Mike Montgomery (1-1, 4.35 ERA) vs. Mets RH Jacob deGrom (4-0, 1.52)

Montgomery allowed two hits and struck out five over 5 2/3 scoreless innings to beat Pittsburgh in his first start of the season on Monday.

DeGrom has not received a decision in his last two trips to the mound despite permitting one run on nine hits and five walks over 14 innings with 16 strikeouts.

The Cubs have won the last five games in this series.
