The Gambler's Edge - May 28: Don't Go Against Those Angels

We continue to struggle with finding our Major League Baseball plays and hope that the conclusion of this year's NBA should help.

Current NBA Record: 12-3-1 (80%)

Current MLB Record: 11-10 (52.3%) 2-0 High Priced Picks - Note some wins include big underdogs

On Sunday, we believed the LA Angels would have the edge against the New York Yankees but this is a hard team to play against in 2018.

Masahiro Tanaka has been on fire for the Yankees, striking out eight and allowed just Andrelton Simmons' sixth-inning home run in his longest outing in nearly a month.

There are plenty of day games ahead for Monday due to the Memorial Day holiday.  Three games - the Astros vs. Yankees, Cardinals vs. Brewers and Giants vs. Rockies - will be televised nationally on ESPN.

Baseball News

Chris Paddack Player Prop Bets

Paddack recorded 10 strikeouts over seven shutout innings on Monday in a win over the White Sox. Prior to that start, Paddack was obliterated by the Orioles, allowing nine runs on 12 hits in 5 1/3 innings.

Zach Eflin Player Prop Bets

Zach Eflin has great value in fantasy leagues for the April 26 game against the lowly Chicago White Sox.  Betting on Eflin and the Tampa Bay Rays might make sense if not for the -210 price tag.

Trevor Williams Player Prop Bets

The Nats Trevor Williams held the Astros to one run with four strikeouts across six innings in a no-decision on Saturday.  And the betting public was eating him up at a near 80% clip.
