The line on the Pirates-Reds game was sitting around Cincinnati EVEN to +107 with around 85% of the bets coming in on Pittsburgh.

The home team has won nine of the last ten in this series with Cincinnati winning half of the last ten meetings between these two teams. The Reds have also won half of their last ten games overall.

PITCHING MATCHUP: Pirates RH Chad Kuhl (4-2, 4.53 ERA) vs. Reds RH Homer Bailey (1-6, 6.11)

Kuhl recorded his second straight no-decision on Thursday after allowing four runs on six hits in 4 1/3 innings against San Diego.

Bailey has taken his lumps of late to the tune of surrendering 24 runs on 41 hits in his last five outings, during which he owns a 1-3 mark while seeing his ERA balloon from 3.68 to 6.11. The 32-year-old surrendered six runs for the second time in three trips to the mound despite keeping the ball in the park for the first time since April 10.

The Reds are 1-10 in Bailey’s last 11 home starts vs. a team with a winning record and 4-17 in his last 21 home starts.

Chris Paddack Player Prop Bets

Paddack recorded 10 strikeouts over seven shutout innings on Monday in a win over the White Sox. Prior to that start, Paddack was obliterated by the Orioles, allowing nine runs on 12 hits in 5 1/3 innings.

Zach Eflin Player Prop Bets

Zach Eflin has great value in fantasy leagues for the April 26 game against the lowly Chicago White Sox.  Betting on Eflin and the Tampa Bay Rays might make sense if not for the -210 price tag.

Trevor Williams Player Prop Bets

The Nats Trevor Williams held the Astros to one run with four strikeouts across six innings in a no-decision on Saturday.  And the betting public was eating him up at a near 80% clip.
