The Cardinals-Padres Saturday game featured a line of St. Louis -100 at most books and nearly 70% of the action on the Cards.

St. Louis is 7-3 against San Diego in the last ten meetings. Even better, they are 7-1 in the last 8 meetings in San Diego.

PITCHING MATCHUP: Cardinals RH Michael Wacha (4-1, 3.15 ERA) vs. Padres RH Tyson Ross (2-3, 3.67)

Wacha has received back-to-back no-decisions after winning each of his previous four starts.  Wacha is 3-0 with a 2.52 ERA in four career starts against San Diego and is undefeated in three previous outings at Petco Park.

Ross is 0-2 over his last four decisions despite allowing just one run in both no-decisions during the stretch. The 31-year-old allowed a season-worst five runs in losing to the Washington Nationals last time up.

He is 1-1 with a 3.00 ERA in six career appearances (three starts) against the Cardinals .

Chris Paddack Player Prop Bets

Paddack recorded 10 strikeouts over seven shutout innings on Monday in a win over the White Sox. Prior to that start, Paddack was obliterated by the Orioles, allowing nine runs on 12 hits in 5 1/3 innings.

Zach Eflin Player Prop Bets

Zach Eflin has great value in fantasy leagues for the April 26 game against the lowly Chicago White Sox.  Betting on Eflin and the Tampa Bay Rays might make sense if not for the -210 price tag.

Trevor Williams Player Prop Bets

The Nats Trevor Williams held the Astros to one run with four strikeouts across six innings in a no-decision on Saturday.  And the betting public was eating him up at a near 80% clip.
