In Major League Baseball, the Phillies were seeing around 85% of the money line action against the Mets.

The line on this game opened as high as -161 and dropped to a low of -135 and was back up to -167.  Needless-to-say, we won't be offering a pick on this game with such instability.

PITCHING MATCHUP: Mets LH Steven Matz (1-3, 4.23 ERA) vs. Phillies RH Jake Arrieta (3-1, 3.15)

Matz avenged a disastrous seven-run outing on April 25 by recording his first quality start of the season after allowing one run on three hits in six innings of Saturday's 2-0 setback to Colorado.  He permitting two runs on four hits in 5 2/3 innings of a 3-1 setback on Aug. 12 in his lone start against Philadelphia.

Arrieta enjoyed a three-start winning streak before getting blitzed against Miami on April 30.  He is 2-2 with a 2.30 ERA in seven career appearances versus the Mets.

Baseball News

Chris Paddack Player Prop Bets

Paddack recorded 10 strikeouts over seven shutout innings on Monday in a win over the White Sox. Prior to that start, Paddack was obliterated by the Orioles, allowing nine runs on 12 hits in 5 1/3 innings.

Zach Eflin Player Prop Bets

Zach Eflin has great value in fantasy leagues for the April 26 game against the lowly Chicago White Sox.  Betting on Eflin and the Tampa Bay Rays might make sense if not for the -210 price tag.

Trevor Williams Player Prop Bets

The Nats Trevor Williams held the Astros to one run with four strikeouts across six innings in a no-decision on Saturday.  And the betting public was eating him up at a near 80% clip.
