The Boston Red Sox are a big -215 favorite against Tampa Bay Saturday night and still seeing between 75% and 80% of the overall action.

Ideally we would see the Red Sox line rising pretty dramatically and that's not exactly happening here.  In fact, we have seen the number go from -225 at some books to -205.

If you are a big dog better, this could be a good spot to back Tampa Bay, a team that is hovering just under the .500 mark.

Rays RH Yonny Chirinos (0-1, 2.92 ERA) faced the Red Sox in his first two big-league appearances, yielding four hits across nine scoreless innings with seven strikeouts and one walk.

After pitching well to start off the season, Chirinos was a bit more exposed his last two starts (eight runs allowed, 10 1/3 innings).  He is desperately seeking out his first win of the season.

But Red Sox LH David Price (2-2, 2.93) suffered his second straight loss and the odds of him going three straight without a win playing for a team as hot as the Red Sox is difficult to fathom.

Seven of the last ten games in this series have stayed UNDER the current total of 9.  75% of those betting the total were backing the OVER even at 9 (having moved up from 8.5).
