Odds to Win Best Supporting Actress - 2018 Oscars

The odds to win Best Supporting Actress at this year's Oscars had Allison Janney as a pretty decent sized favorite at -600.

I, Tonya is a 2017 American biographical film directed by Craig Gillespie and written by Steven Rogers. It follows the life of figure skater Tonya Harding and her connection to the 1994 attack on her rival Nancy Kerrigan.

Janney, while priced high, is not necessarily a "lock" compared to the Best Actor and Best Actress categories at better than -1500 each.  You would have to bet $60 to win $10 with the $60 refunded just as long as Janney is a winner.  The risk is substantially less than the Best Actor and Best Actress categories with the potential to win an easy $50 betting $300 since it is indeed rare for an Oscar nomination priced at -500 or greater to lose.

Laurie Metcalf has a shot of winning for Lady Bird.  She's priced at +425, paying $42.50 for every $10 bet.
