What the Bookies Are Saying: Giants vs. Raiders

Resident bookmaking expert Tony Caliente discusses the Sunday NFL game between the Giants vs. Raiders.

This one will attract some interest in that Eli Manning has been benched for the first time ever in favor of Gino Smith.  The line has shot up two points in favor of Oakland as a result.

The Raiders are very much in the hunt for the division win with Kansas City stumbling in recent weeks.

75% of the betting action was on Oakland.

It’s hard to know how the Giants will perform with Smith at the helm but the line on this game should have been set at Oakland -5.5 assuming no quarterback change.

Norway takes on Senegal Monday.  Norway is priced at +125 as Senegal is the favorite here at -220.

All four teams still have a realistic path to the knockout stage but Norway and France each lead with 3 points apiece so far.

Norway would move to 6 points.  They would virtually clinch a Round of 32 berth before facing France in the final group match.
