The Bills have ruled out WR Kelvin Benjamin (knee) for Sunday's game against Kansas City. He was listed as questionable Friday after not practicing this week. Benjamin injured his knee in the first quarter of last Sunday's loss to the Chargers.
Pete Carroll said "there will be some clarity" soon on the situations with Cliff Avril and Kam Chancellor, who are both dealing with neck injuries. Avril is on IR while Chancellor has been ruled out for the second straight game. "We're just kind of respecting their process and what's right for them, so we just continue to kind of report [to] you where they are right now and leave it at that," Carroll said. "There will be some things happening before too long." Asked if Chancellor is still seeing doctors of if he has the information he needs, Carroll said it's the latter: "He pretty much has the information he needs at this point.”

According to ESPN Stats & Information, Russell Wilson needs 199 passing yards to become the fourth quarterback in NFL history to throw for at least 3,000 yards in each of his first six seasons. The others: Peyton Manning, Cam Newton and Andy Dalton. Wilson's 280 passing yard per game this season ranks third in the NFL.
