NFL Games of the Week 6 2017 Betting Odds: Packers-Vikings, More

Gambling911.com looks at your 2017 Week 6 Games of the Week betting odds and hot trends.

Packers-Vikings

The Packers enter Minnesota as a -3 favorite with the line having moved off of -3.5.  Some books had moved back to -3.5 by Saturday with 81% of the action on Green Bay, a team that has beaten Minnesota in six of the last ten meetings and three of four as a visitor.  Four of the last ten games in this series have been won by a field goal or less.  The Packers should only be listed as a -2 favorite here as the Vikings are likely to cover the +3 point line.

Patriots-Jets

Sounds crazy to suggest that this could possibly be considered a Game of the Week heading into the 2017 NFL season but the only crazy thing here is that New York, New England and Buffalo are all tied for the number one spot in the AFC East.  Because Buffalo is not playing, either New England or New York will take the sole lead after Week 6.  The Pats have dominated 8-2 in the series over the last ten games, losing both times in OT.   Aside from a meaningless final week game last season, the previous seven games were decided within five points.  You better believe we will be all over the Jets as a +9 home dog here.  The line is correctly posted at -9.5 we should note if not considering New York’s three-week win streak and recent historic play versus New England.

Steelers-Chiefs

This is the undisputed Game of the Week for Week 6 as Kansas City hopes to stay undefeated against a Steelers squad that was supposed to be vying for an AFC Championship.  Pittsburgh has won five of the last six in this series dating back to 2011. The home team has won four of the last five.  KC was knocked out of the Playoffs at home last season by the Steelers and by only two points so sweet revenge should be on their minds.   The Chiefs should be a -6.5 favorite.
