The LSU Tigers are among the top 6 teams oddsmakers believe are most likely to win the 2018 College Football National Championship game at 18/1 odds. Louisiana State finished the season last year at 6-6 Against The Spread but were expected to be much improved heading into the 2017 season thanks to a new look offense, and this has to have bookies in the region nervous.

New coordinator Matt Canada is being heralded as someone that can ensure LSU stays among the top ranked schools throughout this year’s College Football season.

"It's definitely a world of difference from the offense we ran here previously," said fullback J.D. Moore, a senior leader who's had to evolve into a hybrid tight end just to retain a prominent role. "It's a big change and it's been a lot of fun to learn just a whole different offensive system and be able to be involved in some different types of things."

Running back Derrius Guice called the new offensive scheme "the story of LSU" this season, although his perspective is that of a player who thrived in the old system — particularly against Texas A&M late last season, when he rushed for a single-game Tigers record 285 yards.
"I feel like it's something that we can adapt to, buy into," Guice said. "I can't wait to see what it holds for us."

Ed Orgeron assumes the role of head coach from Les Miles, who was often accused of being “too predictable”.  Miles won 114 games during 11-plus seasons.

Orgeron stressed that he's by no means deconstructing everything built by Miles.

Orgeron team will also be helped by defensive coordinator Dave Aranda, now in his second season. Special teams coaching duties have been split among several assistants who are aided by "consultant" Greg McMahon.

"To me, it feels like everything is new," Orgeron told the Associated Press.

Aiyuk-Deebo Trade Odds and ROY Shift

Xavier Worthy = Tyreek Hill 2.0?  Perhaps, and if that comes to fruition at any point in the future, the Bills only have themselves to blame.

J.J. McCarthy Drafted Number 3 Odds to Patriots

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?
