2017 Wimbledon Odds And Profitable Players

The 2017 Wimbledon Championships have moved into their first full week of action and tennis bettors are still watching the results closely to determine who might win Men’s Championship.

Pay per head agents should also be aware that the players with the four best Wimbledon odds are the four players seeded the highest as the tournament began.

As of June 30th, Wimbledon futures listed seven-time Wimbledon champion Roger Federer as the player with the best odds to win his 8th title on the grass courts.

Federer was listed just ahead of two-time Wimbledon champion, Scotsman Andy Murray.

Listed next were a couple of the usual suspects at Grand Slam tennis events. Spain’s Rafael Nadal came in third best while Serbia’s Novak Djokovic was next.

Nadal has a total of 15 Grand Slam titles to his credit which includes Wimbledon championships in 2008 and 2010.

Djokovic has 12 Grand Slam titles with three of those (2011, 2014, 2015) coming at Wimbledon.

Wimbledon Odds

Roger Federer             +200

Andy Murray               +350

Rafael Nadal                +400

Novak Djokovic            +600

Federer will be looking to win his first Wimbledon trophy since 2012 and at the age of 35 this may be one of his last good chances.

But after taking the 2017 Australian Open title and skipping this season’s clay court schedule, he’s hoping he’ll have the energy to fend off a strong group of young players.

Young players in addition to Murray, Nadal and Djokovic.

Online bookies and pay per head agents are sure to see a lot of money on the four favorites, but shouldn’t rule out some other players with lower odds.

Keep an eye on Milos Raonic, who made it all the way to last years final before losing. Raonic is the #6 seed this year. Or Stan Wawrinka who is playing some great tennis right now.

Pay Per Head Agents Prepare For Underdogs

Although underdogs aren’t as much of a worry with tennis, in most cases with favorites, usually one of the favorites win.

In fact, the last men’s tennis player not named Federer, Nadal, Djokovic, or Murray to win Wimbledon was Leyton Hewitt in 2002

But still, there are some up and coming players to watch.

That group includes Nick Kyrgios, an excellent grass court player, Alexander Zverev and Dominic Thiem.

These three can be considered value plays with their Wimbledon odds as follows.

Nick Kyrgios                +1600

Alexander Zverev       +2000

Dominic Thiem             +2500

Even though the likelihood of the above players winning isn’t high, online bookies should still max betting limits.

If Kyrgios does come up the winner a $100 bet will mean online bookies will have to pay out $1600.

So, use your PayPerHead mass edit tool to set a max betting limit on all players that will fit the budget.
