One of the most overlooked months of the year for North American facing bookmakers is none other than May, thirty-one action packed days of frenetic gambling.

Savvy bookmakers have caught on to the fact that most sports bettors do not stop betting simply because the NFL, College Football or even College Basketball have ended.

“For us, the second, and sometimes even the single most trafficked single day event is the Kentucky Derby,” remarked Payton O’Brien, Senior Editor of the Gambling911.com website.

While not as big, the Preakness Stakes, held mid-May, is typically the second most trafficked of the yearly horse racing events.
