Bookie Early Baseball Fears – The Minnesota Twins

Local sports bettors in the Minneapolis region who bet each of this past week’s Twins games likely have a big smile on their faces but for regional bookies in particular, this club appears to be an early concern.

The Twins kicked off the new season with three victories over Kansas City as a small favorite in two and small dog in one and a Friday win against the Chicago White Sox at +101.

This is a team that was not supposed to be very good in 2017 with a bullpen that had many worried.  If this weekend is any indication, we could all be in for a big surprise.

This is all the more stunning in that Minnesota started last season with nine straight losses.

Of note, the last time the Twins started a season 4-0 back in 1987 they went on to win the World Series.
