Oddsmakers believe the Saturday February 11 installment of SNL will receive the highest ratings yet this season with Alec Baldwin set to host.
Gambling911.com has made SNL breaking its season’s rating record a slight favorite of -130, though these odds are for entertainment purposes. Betting on this event are currently by request only at BetOnline.
Baldwin’s impression of Donald Trump throughout the US Presidential campaign and after his ultimate election as the 45th President of the United States have garnered the Hollywood actor plenty of praise, albeit not from Trump himself.
Trump has unloaded on Baldwin a few times already via Twitter.

Last week’s skits included Baldwin being egged on by advisor Steve Bannon (portrayed as the Grim Reaper) to taunt allies of the United States via the telephone, most notably the Prime Minister of Australia.
The skit that made the Twitterverse light up was special guest Melissa McCarthy’s portrayal of White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer getting into testy back-and-fourths with the press pool.

In addition to the advance press coverage of Baldwin’s hosting of this Saturday’s show, there are also rumors swirling around that Trump arch-nemesis Rosie O’Donnell could be set to play the role of Steve Bannon.
A gaffe by Trump Counselor Kellyanne Conway in which she hyped the President’s daughter Ivanka Trump’s clothing line on air against apparent government ethics rules, could provide further fodder for SNL writers this week.
